Naturalization & Citizenship

Lawful permanent residents who have resided in the U.S. for five years or, in some cases, three years, may apply for naturalization as U.S. citizens. If your case involves delicate or troublesome issues, we can help you determine whether you qualify for naturalization. There are several requirements to become a naturalized U.S. citizen, including physical presence for a prescribed amount of time, good moral character, and the ability to write and speak English (unless you are of a certain age or have certain disabilities).

We help you prepare the application, attend the naturalization interview with you, and follow up with the Service if it issues a request for evidence, delays adjudication, or denies your application.
