As an early staunch supporter of President Barack Obama and a member of his Minnesota financial committee, I am grateful to have experienced the historic election of this exemplary leader, who promises to employ bold solutions to address critical nationwide issues ranging from Homeland Security and foreign policy to the economy and environment. May his faith, values, and humble upbringing help guide his efforts to bring change to the United States of America, restore our nation’s reputation in both the Muslim world and the world at large, and repair our ailing economy so that we can continue to live the American Dream in a peaceful world.
